10 Free Football Printables for Your Get-Together

Thanks to U.S. Toy company for sponsoring this post!

10 Free Football Printables for Your Get-Together I am so excited to share this fun football party with you including 10 free football printables you can use for the Super Bowl or any football get-together! The set includes a banner, favor tags, signs, food flags, food labels and a fun game to keep the kids busy!

I loved putting this party together and had a blast shopping for football-themed items, designing the free football printables and perusing Pinterest to find awesome recipes shared by some of my favorite bloggers. I hope you find some inspiration in this post and can use some of the printables at your next football party!

Football Food & Drinks

Football games just scream indulgent and this menu did not disappoint. There were a couple of healthy options … OK, there was one. I’ll hop on the elliptical tomorrow. Pinkie swear.

I’d been eying the Pretzel Dogs recipe from Buns in My Oven for some time, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity! They were so good. The pretzel dough was so easy to make, and they were worth the extra time. There are even tips on her site for making them ahead of your event, freezing and reheating them. Perfect for events like this!

BBQ also sounded good, so I made some barbeque sundaes. They are so easy and great recipes are all over. You put baked beans on the bottom, cole slaw on top of that, and then a final layer of BBQ.

My husband made his famous guacamole, because you can’t have a football get-together without guacamole and chips. We also served some carrots and broccoli for people worried about their figures.

The true star of the show was Loaded Baked Potato Dip served with waffle fries. My kids skipped the dip and went straight for the ketchup. Big mistake. That dip is amazing. If I had to choose a last meal, that dip would be part of it. It was also good with carrots and tortilla chips. Don’t judge. I had to test it out for quality control purposes. I put it in little treat cups next to bags of fries. Oh, so good.

Cute referee water bottles (using my free water bottle label printable) and lemonade were for the big kids, while the little ones drank out of their awesome football drink containers. The straw wraps around and around the football, and it was hilarious watching the kids drink and try to watch the drink make its way through the football.

Nuts are the hot item in our house right now, and I knew the kids would love the peanuts I placed in the gold trophies. Such a fun way to serve them and keep the portions small.

For dessert, I made some chocolate football-shaped whoopie pies and also served some adorable football cookies from Chlobugs Cookies.

The party favors were fun football shaped bags made out of lunch bags and stuffed with candy. I attached a cute favor tag that said “Good Game, thanks for playing!” (the DIY is coming to the blog this week, so check back!). It was the perfect way to send our guests home with something sweet.

Decor

I used loads of fun football decor from U.S. Toy. Pom poms, football player figurines (which did double-duty as Tic Tac Toe game pieces), challenge flags and megaphones were all placed around the table as accents.

To bring some green indoors, I found inexpensive tissue paper grass online. I loved how it looked in the galvanized tin containers and at $5 for a package of two, it was perfect!

Games

The temperatures have been freezing lately, so a fun game of flag football outdoors was out of the question. I kept the kiddos busy with a fun game of Tic Tac Toe (free printable below). They loved picking their teams out.

DIY Projects

There were a lot of fun DIY projects in this party.

I made the kids’ vintage-style football jerseys using $3 t-shirts from Walmart and white fabric paint from JoAnn’s. To make the stripe on the sleeves, I marked off my stripe using two lines of tape and then painted in between one side at a time. The paint dried in four hours, so then I flipped it over and did the other side of the sleeve. For the numbers, I made a stencil out of my favorite varsity font. The jerseys added a fun touch!

The referee bottles turned out so cute. I printed my labels on full sheet weatherproof label paper from OnlineLabels.com. It prints beautifully and when it gets wet, the ink doesn’t run since they are waterproof. Once I had my labels, I added bead necklaces with whistles from U.S. Toy. I trimmed the necklaces down, twisted the ends together and then looped them around the bottle.

As always, I share these printables with you for your own personal use. Resale and commercial use are strictly prohibited. You can print off as many copies as you need for your enjoyment, but the files are locked to prevent copyright infringement. So now for the good stuff …

Print these guys on either matte photo paper (my favorite) or card stock. The food labels are fillable. Just type in the field and print (if you have any issues, make sure your PDF reader is up to date and that you are not in preview mode). The water bottle labels, or anything you would like to be adhesive, print on full sheet label paper.

    Hi,

I just came across your blog–you have such adorable printables & ideas. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

I LOVE your football made out of a lunch bag. I am doing a football theme for the boys in my daughters class for Valentine’s Day. This would be the perfect DIY candy holder for them. Will you have a HOW TO to share?

    Thank you so much,

    Debra

I’m super excited to find these printables!!! They will be perfect for my son’s 4th birthday. I’m getting a late start on it and I’m in a time crunch. The green is perfect to go with the invitations I made. All I have to do is add in some orange. We are doing concession stand food, so I’m really happy you have a sign for that. It’s always so great to find cute things that save me time and sanity!
