One of my favorite Christmas memories as a child was of my brother and I getting up before our parents and rushing into the living room to find gifts from Santa in front of the tree. He never wrapped his presents, but he did always put a big bow on them. I’ve carried on the tradition in my house by setting out a big gift from Santa on Christmas morning. To make Santa’s gifts a bit more magical, we always add gift tags from the big man in his own handwriting to make it feel a bit more authentic. And, because my super sleuth daughter can recognize our handwriting, these gift tags pass the test.
If you liked the Santa Letterhead, you’ll love these matching Santa Gift Tags in Santa’s own handwriting. Just type the names of your children into the editable fields, print, trim and attach to your gift from Santa.
Gift tags are 2×3.5″, with eight tags per sheet. Just print on card stock or matte photo paper.

Thanks for sharing! I was looking for something special to tag the kids gifts with! Merry Christmas!
Thank you! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas too!
Gretchen – as always beautiful. Loved the Santa letters (our elves delivered them and then returned them to Santa) and now the tags. As the kids get older it is harder and harder to hide my handwriting so thank you
I am so glad! My oldest is so smart, I just knew I needed to disguise my writing too. So glad you enjoyed using them!
I love these! So adorable! Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Thanks for sharing! Love these!
Thanks for sharing, great idea. My kids are older, but I used to take tags to work & have my co-workers fill them out so the kids didn’t recognize my handwriting. Over the years, besides Santa, my kids would get gifts from Rudolph, Hermey the elf, Yukon Jack and the Bumble. To keep the wrapping paper separate, the gifts from Santa were always wrapped in plain red, green, blue, etc. The gifts from Mom & Dad were in the paper with designs – snowmen, snowflakes, etc.
Best wishes for a wonderful Christmas and fabulous New Year.
Thank you for sharing that, Kim! Such a sweet story. I love the idea of gifting from their favorite movie characters too. What a sweet way to add some magic! Merry Christmas to you too!
