Many thanks to Wallternatives for sponsoring this post. As always, I’m in charge here and all opinions are mine!
I’m so excited to share a new series of posts with you that focus on updating your home and decor with budget-friendly makeovers, tutorials and some free art prints. Free and budget-friendly are good, right? And I’m kicking it off by sharing a sweet little transformation accomplished with Wallternatives.
You remember that feeling of being stuck in a room that your parents originally decorated that soooo wasn’t you anymore? Well, my youngest daughter is right there and ready to kick that toddler decor to the curb for something that is undeniably “her”. She likes bright colors and has a modern sense of style, so that’s what we’re aiming for.
I found the perfect thing at a conference when I met the awesome people at Royal Design Studio and their newest product—Wallternatives. These easy-to-use decals are so fun and affordable. Plus, they are adding new designs all. the. time. You have to check out all of the choices they have! (I need these mini triangles for my son’s room!)
Madeline loves bird cages, and I knew she would love the Flying The Coop Bird Cage Vinyl Decal in hot pink–her favorite color! I chose the large size, which was delivered to my house in record time.
The decal was so easy to apply, and I was done in just a few minutes. I added a few of pieces of art in brightly painted frames around the decal, and then I positioned the bird that came with the decal over the frames. The decal looks just like a beautiful stencil in a fraction of the time! It’s such a sweet little grouping that Madeline enjoys seeing first thing when she wakes up.
I love how colorful Madeline’s new decal is, and she is so happy with the small transformation too. I can’t wait to show you the rest!
So what do you think? Do you love it?
