Reindeer Treats

One of my favorite things about Christmas is that we slow down the pace of our hectic lives and focus on those little people who mean so much to us.

My kids still very much believe in Santa and his reindeer, so we decided to make some Reindeer Treats. We threw a bunch of random grains in a bag (oats, barley, etc.) with some sprinkles and glitter, and then topped them with some labels I made that say:

“Sprinkle this on the ground at night.
The moon will make it sparkle bright.
As Santa’s reindeer fly and roam,
This will guide them to your home.”

We’ll be sprinkling them in the front yard on Christmas Eve to help Santa find his way.

The kids enjoyed making the treats so much, that we decided to make some for our friends too and created treat bag toppers for those. I have two versions, one for treat bags and one for mason jars. Just click on the links below to download.
